Jocelyn Kathleen Orrell - Riot Cop in Training

Well, here we are at the end of the first decade of the 21st Century - 2010. I still don't have a personal jetpack, a flying car or a robot servant; and the only opportunity to ride a moving sidewalk is when I go to the airport. I guess The Jetsons was a lie. But what I do have is a little girl with some strong legs!

The other night, we were watching The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Lisa was sitting next to me on the couch, and my leg was folded and resting against her belly. I guess Jocelyn wasn't too happy about me getting all up in her business, because she began kicking at my leg - two soft taps followed by a big kick. It was like she was trying to kick down a door. I guess I would be upset too. After all, I was sitting in a big room and she has a tiny little womb to call home. It was pretty amusing, though, to have have her seemingly conscious of my leg and with a growing desire to get it off of her.

We just need to work on her verbal assertiveness and she will make one heck of a riot cop.
